Welcome to Herbert & Nancy Limited ("we", "our", "us") — a antique gift shop based in Richmond, New Zealand. By purchasing from us, either in-store at 216 Yarrow Street, Richmond or through our online store, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.

About Us

Herbert & Nancy Limited is a New Zealand-owned business specialising in antique, vintage, and curated gift items. Many of our products are one-of-a-kind or second-hand and may have age-related character, which we consider part of their charm and uniqueness.

Product Descriptions
 

  • We strive to describe all items as accurately as possible, including any visible wear or imperfections typical of vintage and antique goods.

  • Please read product descriptions carefully and review photos before purchasing. If you need more information, feel free to contact us before placing an order.
     

Pricing and Payment
 

  • All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless stated otherwise.

  • We accept payment via credit/debit card, bank transfer, or other secure methods available at checkout.

  • Orders will only be processed once full payment is received.
     

Shipping and Delivery
 

  • We only ship within New Zealand and do not offer international shipping.

  • Shipping costs and delivery timeframes are provided at checkout.

  • We are not responsible for delays once the item has been dispatched, but we will provide tracking where available.

  • We take great care when packaging fragile items, but please contact us immediately if your order arrives damaged.
     

Returns and Refunds
 

  • As an antique gift shop, most of our items are pre-owned or vintage, and sold as-is.

  • Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, you are entitled to a remedy if an item is faulty or not as described.

  • We do not offer refunds for change of mind, but may offer store credit at our discretion.

  • Any issues must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Items must be returned in original condition. Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense unless the item is faulty.
     

Click & Collect / In-Store Pickup
 

  • Items purchased online can be collected from our Richmond store during business hours.

  • Please bring your order confirmation and photo ID when collecting.
     

Privacy Policy
 

  • We respect your privacy. Personal information collected during the ordering process is used solely to process and deliver your purchase.

  • We do not share or sell your information to third parties, except as required by law.
     

Liability
 

  • To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, Herbert & Nancy Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use or misuse of any product.

  • Our total liability is limited to the purchase price paid.
     

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be handled under New Zealand jurisdiction.
